DEI AT NJSACC
NJSACC has invested time to explore diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging both internally and externally. The following areas are being addressed:
- Agency and Organizational Direction
- Revision of NJSACC’s Vision Statement
- Development of a Core Values Statement
- Adoption of core racial equity principles set forth by the National Afterschool Association
- Board of Directors, diversification and expansion
- Diversified agency partnerships, vendors & trainers
- Agency equity scan & staff training in perception bias
- DEI inclusion in all trainings and professional development
- Engaging with providers and stakeholders to assess provider needs
- Training and Technical Assistance in DEI implementation
