Diverse Learners Needs Assessment Survey
The Institute for Families (IFF) at the Rutgers School of Social Work is working with the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development to create a new training series about meeting the needs of diverse learners. We are interested in the perspectives of professionals in the early childhood (teachers, directors, administrators, family care providers, staff) and out-of-school time (camp counselors, teachers, administrators, directors) workforce.
You are invited to participate as a professional with experience educating and working with learners with diverse needs and their families. This survey seeks to gather valuable insights about your individual experiences and expertise, pinpoint the specific needs of professionals whom we are targeting as learners, examine current trends and challenges experienced by early childhood and out-of-school time professionals, obtain recommendations, and gain additional suggestions to enhance development of the “Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners” training curriculum.
We hope that you will participate in this online survey which will take about 15 minutes to complete. Survey participants will not be identified in any reports. Your participation is anonymous. Additionally, you can choose to be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a $25 gift card at the end of the survey. If you have any questions about the study, please email Rebecca Swann-Jackson, Ph.D. at r.swannjackson@rutgers.edu.
