Exciting opportunity with NYLC’s Youth as Solutions – apply by Tue Feb 27

NYLC is excited to announce their new Youth as Solutions Pilot Program, Peacebuilding in Action, focused on peacebuilding through service-learning experiences in underserved communities across the US! In collaboration with 9/11 Day, this initiative marks a significant step towards building a more peaceful and united society.

They are actively recruiting 10 youth leadership teams to join Peacebuilding in Action, kicking off this month, and running through September 2024. Each team will receive:

• National recognition for your work
• Free, high-quality professional development for adults
• Leadership skills development for youth
• $500 grant to implement your service-learning project
• $500 stipend for the adult leader’s assessment and feedback on our pilot program
• Connection to a national group of changemakers
