Full STEAM Ahead continues! Join NJSACC on Tue Feb 13 & Thu Feb 22 virtually!
NJSACC: New Jersey’s Afterschool and Out-of-School Time (OST) Professional Network in partnership with C. S. Mott Foundation Presents:
Full STEAM Ahead
A Hybrid Conference Dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math
It's Unanimous! NJSACC's 2024 STEAM Conference was a hit!
Judging by the evaluations from our recent in-person Full STEAM Ahead Conference, this year’s annual event for school age afterschool and Out-of-School Time (OST) providers was a huge success! Participants ranked the experience “excellent” in every single category including topics, presenters, & facility.
With a focus on providing hands on examples of easy to implement, engaging activities paired with pathways to easy access, high quality resources, NJSACC’s Full STEAM Ahead Conference aims to provide all attendees with practical, engaging, and easy to implement tools, strategies, and resources to provide Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math activities in their school age OST programs. “Our team worked very thoughtfully in preparing this year’s event so that it was both hands on and very accessible for all OST staff no matter how experienced and knowledgeable in STEM they are. We are delighted that our audience found it so valuable and engaging”, remarked Dagmar Wojcik, NJSACC’s Quality Team Director. “In addition, the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County provided us with a topnotch facility at their Lawrenceville location and were amazing hosts in showcasing their successful STEAM efforts. As a statewide event, we are incredibly grateful that we were able to hold our in-person component in such a convenient, central, and accommodating location.”
NJSACC’s Full STEAM Ahead 2024 Conference continues into February virtually with two STEAM workshops via zoom led by national trainers. These sessions are scheduled in the evening to be accessible to all school age OST providers. Don’t miss out – there are still a few spots available, and, thanks to grant funding, they’re a bargain too! Attend both workshops for just $20.

More information on how NJSACC’s STEM programming is supported:
- Most of of the STEM related events that NJSACC has been offering in recent years, including Full STEAM Ahead 2024, are available thanks to funding from the Million Girls Moonshot grant which has been made available to afterschool networks like NJSACC in all 50 states.
Moonshot Mission:
- The Million Girls Moonshot seeks to re-imagine who can engineer, who can build, who can make. It will inspire and prepare the next generation of innovators by engaging one million more girls in STEM learning opportunities through afterschool and summer programs over the next 5 years.
The Moonshot Approach: is that STEM is for Everyone.
- The Moonshot will not only allow girls to envision themselves as future innovators, but it will increase the quality of out-of-school STEM learning opportunities for all young people, particularly underserved and underrepresented youth.
