A Gathering of Over 300 Afterschool Professionals Dedicated To Enhancing Youth Programs Across NJ!
βThe 2025 NJSACC Afterschool and Out-of-School Time (OST) Conference, held on April 4β5 at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, brought together over 300 professionals dedicated to enhancing youth programs across New Jersey. This annual event featured more than 40 workshops covering topics such as S.T.E.A.M. education, social-emotional learning, grant writing, and youth advocacy to mention a few. Through 2 great days of networking NJSACC provided attendees with valuable tools and insights to elevate their programs.β

One highlight, of which there were many, was Saturdayβs Opening Address by Carlos Santini, CEO of Mizzen, who emphasized the importance of building meaningful relationships to support youth success. There were so many happy, smiling, networking professionals in the building it was impossible not to feel energized about Afterschool and Out-of-School Time.
The conference also featured “Showcase Alley,” a vibrant vendor fair where participants engaged with innovative resources and services tailored for afterschool programs. The βAlleyβ was overflowing with a variety of services, products and more. Over 30 vendors came together to talk with decision makers on all the various ways they can help each other to give the best care for todayβs youth.
Attendees praised the conference for its engaging sessions and practical takeaways. One participant noted, “The presenters and workshops were wonderful and informative,” while another appreciated the hands-on nature of the sessions. The event concluded with “A Celebration of Community,” leaving attendees feeling recharged and inspired to implement new strategies in their programs.β
