Fall 2024 AfterSchool Today Released

The fall 2024 edition of AfterSchool Today is out now! With this issue, the National AfterSchool Association  (NAA) is celebrating and supporting neurodiversity in afterschool, from the young people we serve to easy workplace adjustments that benefit all employees.

As NAA Chief Operating Officer Heidi Ham explains in her opening note, the issue “delves into neurodivergence, exploring what it means, how to work effectively with neurodivergent youth, and the accommodations that can benefit neurodivergent employees.”

Explore the new issue today to hear from OST practitioners who have experience working with neurodiverse individuals or who identify as neurodivergent themselves, in addition to lessons learned from parents, families, and neurodivergent young people.
