2025 NJSACC Conference Call For Proposal

NJSACC: New Jersey’s Afterschool and Out-of-School Time Professional Network is excited to announce the Request for Proposals (RFP) for our 2025 Afterschool and Out-of-School Time Conference.  The conference will be held Friday and Saturday, April 4th and 5th, 2025 at the Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Forrestal.  Over the 2 days, approximately 300 afterschool and out-of-school time professionals gather to learn, network and share knowledge. Workshop applications should describe innovative, interactive and engaging workshop sessions that will provide conference attendees with activities and knowledge that can be implemented immediately. We are looking for dynamic workshops aimed at giving OST professionals and providers tools to offer high quality afterschool and out-of-school time programs.  Workshops must align with the New Jersey Quality Standards for Afterschool (NJQSA) and address at least one or more of the topics listed. Key Points of Information:

• Date: Friday & Saturday, April 4-5, 2025.
• Location: Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Forrestal.
• All workshops must be linked to at least one category in the NJ Quality Standards for Afterschool.
• Friday consists of two 90 minute sessions and one 75 minute session.
• Saturday consists of one 90 minute session and one 75 minute session.
• One presenter per workshop will receive a free registration for the day of their presentation. Additional presenters will be required to register and pay the registration fee if they would like to attend the rest of the day.  Additional presenters who will assist for the workshop ONLY are welcome at no charge.
• Presenters must provide their own laptops (if needed).
• Presenters must provide their own flipchart (if needed).
• NJSACC has a limited number of LCDs available.  If needed, you may request one, however availability is first come, first serve.  It is greatly appreciated if you have an LCD that you can bring and use.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 18, 2024.

Prospective conference presenters will be notified via email no later than the week of November 4th, whether or not their proposal was accepted.
