Happy Summer!

Check out these mid-summer STEM workshops that NJSACC is offering to keep summer camp enthusiasm going all summer long. Grant funded, these virtual workshops are FREE – perfect for all summer camp staff whether they’re working directly with kids or are leadership staff.

BONUS: These workshops can also be a great way to start prepping for fall afterschool and out-of-school time programming.

Session 2: Summer STEM Fun Using Stuff at Camp - Thu July 27

Liven up your summer camp’s STEM experiences! Join NJSACC for this FREE grant-funded virtual workshop and explore how to offer STEM activities using materials easily found at camp. This session has two time slots available so both camp leadership and camp counselors have easy access options to attend. Bring a breath of fresh air to your summer camp – hurry up and register, space is limited! IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS TRAINING, YOU MUST OBTAIN A NJ WORKFORCE REGISTRY NUMBER.

Please follow these steps to sign up for the NJ Workforce Registry:

Go to www.njccis.com and click Log In in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
On the next screen click Register in the gray bar that asks if you are a new user.
On the next screen fill in all the required information. It will ask you what you are requesting approval for. Please select the option that best describes your position. For afterschool providers either Director, ECE Assistant Teacher or ECE Teacher will be the best match. Then click Register in the lower right-hand corner.
You should receive an email to activate your account.
Once activated, please register via Zoom here.
